Carpet Cleaning by Chem-Dry

Two-Step Process

Sanitizing - Step One

Step 1 of the MicroPro Shield process kills harmful bacteria on hard and soft surfaces. The process includes applying an EPA-registered sanitizer to high contact areas through an electrostatic sprayer. Our sanitizer contains no added perfumes, fragrances, or dyes and leaves a fresh scent. It is gentle enough to use around children, food, pets, and more. Our selected sanitizer kills harmful bacteria on hard and soft surfaces, and has been approved by the EPA for use against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of the COVID-19 disease.1

The process uses a unique electrostatic machine, a sprayer that we call the AMP-360, to provide excellent coverage across surfaces, reaching far into hard to reach areas with minimal risks to sensitive items such as electronics.

Step 1 may be considered for use on hard surfaces, carpets, floors, furniture, fabrics and more in both residential and commercial applications.

Antimicrobial Protection - Step Two

Step 2 includes an application of a residual antimicrobial protective layer. This unique, EPA-registered, water-based and odor free antimicrobial residual product creates a durable antimicrobial layer that mechanically inhibits the growth of microbes (odor causing & stain causing bacteria) across surfaces for up to 90 days.2

Applied using an electrostatic sprayer we call the MP-360, the process works to evenly spread the antimicrobial layer across entire surfaces, reaching far into hard-to-reach areas and can be used on carpets and upholstery to inhibit the growth of bacteria which cause odors, staining and discoloration.
